System Trades

The script includes built-in system traders (shown in a separate table below your custom traders). You cannot delete these. They include:

  • exout – it can only have outs.
  • noref – hits without referrer. This system trader can have outs if you redirect such traffic, and clicks from such surfers.
  • nocookie – can have clicks and outs. Clicks – this is when a surfer clicks without cookies, outs – this is if according to settings traffic is redirected without cookies.
  • notrade – hits from domains that you don't trade with. There can also be clicks here – these are clicks from surfers who came from domains you don't trade with, as well as outs if in settings you specify that such traffic should be redirected somewhere.
  • cheat_url – can have outs only if you redirect clicks that the script considers cheating.
  • proxy_url – only outs if clicks are redirected through proxy.
  • in_redirect , out_redirect - only outs if you redirect incoming hits or any clicks according to Traffic Rules settings
  • SE – traffic from search engines, here can be both ins and clicks, i.e. incoming traffic from search engines and clicks made by these surfers.
  • Overclick – all clicks from any trader beyond the norm specified in Max Count Clicks (Settings). Essentially all clicks from overly active surfers are counted here.
  • Blocked_ref - clicks with empty referrer or referrer from a different domain than your domain.

NOTE 101 both here and in all other settings means use default skimming.

Skimming Priority

Let's imagine a situation: a surfer came to your site from Google (i.e. SE traffic) and at the same time from a phone (mobile traffic). SE skim is 70 and mobile is 80 - which skim should be applied? Now the order of skim application can be changed in Settings - CJSettings - System traders. To do this you can drag (drag&drop) the trader's position in the list. The higher in the list the higher the priority. For example, if mobile is higher than SE, then the skim will be 80.

Skimming parameters

In skim settings you can specify additional parameters through # and listing through comma, for example

100#param1=asd,param2=qwe

for now there's only one such parameter, but new ones will be added in the future.

100#tube_embed_switch_rules=off - useful for the wrong_ref trader

that is if a trader comes from another domain directly to the gallery, then 1. don't send them to trade, 2. don't send them to tube, but show them the embed.

Traders

Next to each trader you can see 5 letters – E D F S C.

Edit – trader editing

Delete – Trader deletion

Forces – forces for trader

Stats – trader statistics

C – Color – ability to mark each trader with your own color.

Traders highlighted in yellow are those for which the script has some remarks. Hover over them and in the popup you will see the remarks. The most common options:

  • The trader is on one of the blacklists (smart, cjlog, cheaterhell etc)
  • the percentage of proxies\IP uniqueness etc differs greatly from the average on the site or from anticheat settings.

Trader number marked in red means this is a new trader. To remove the highlight you need to click on the number.

Quality.IN

Shows the quality of incoming traffic in accordance with Quality Settings. Green bar - “good” countries, blue - normal, red - bad.

Trade Worth

Trader's clicks sent to trade (!) divided by outs to trader.

Trade Effect

All trader's clicks divided by outs to trader.

Priority

This is the importance of the trader at the moment, i.e. how important it is for us to give them hits. The higher the priority - the higher the trader in Settings, and the greater the chance they will get traffic.

Trade Deletion

When deleting a trader there are the following options:

  just delete
delete with addition to blacklist, so that the trader cannot register again. You can also specify the reason for which the trader was added to the blacklist.
delete with entry to the global SmartCJ database. This database is on our server and if a trader was added to this database by someone, any SmartCJ user will be able to see this in their admin when hovering the mouse pointer over this trader.
delete to Trash. The trader is simply deleted from the list, trade with them

Trade addition

Note the Settings → NewTrader section – these are exactly the settings that a new trader will receive by default.

Also when adding a trader you can specify several titles and when adding a random one will be selected. For example,

http://trader.com/|desc1,desc2,desc3

when adding to the current site AND other network sites (if added all at once) this trader will be added with a random selection from desc1,desc2,desc3

Edit Trades

Personal Data – trader's personal data, IP from which they registered.

Site Name and Site Description - so that your top is complete.

Status - feeder is a special status for trade-feeder, whose features are as follows: clicks from it are not counted in rotation so as not to spoil the rotation statistics relative to the main traders, and also displayed in a separate table in Trade.

Ratio – main parameter, percentage of traffic returned to trader. VIP trade - keep ratio, means that the script tries its best to maintain exactly the ratio that is set, if lacking - force, if excess - suspend the trade.

Hourly Force - hourly force.

Fast Force NOW - if you need to send a specific number of hits to a trader right now, for example to start a trade. By the way this can also be done from the main screen if you just click on the corresponding values next to traders.

IN Trade Type - designation of what type of incoming hits to take for debt calculation. 3 types:

  • Row - all
  • Unique – only unique
  • Average – take average between all and unique

Recommended value - Unique.

Trade Type - 4 main types of trade. Trade type - this is the formula by which the script calculates debt.

  1. Normal - debt = in * ratio * prod – out.
  2. Capped - in * ratio – out
  3. Real Prod - in * ratio * prod (here clicks on content are not counted, only on trade) – out
  4. TD type = (in+click)/2 - out

Recommended - Normal.

Include in Toplist - you can not include some sites in the top, for example your pay-per-click sponsors.

Skip trader in Anticheat – don't check this trade for cheating, means you completely trust this trader.

Eligible for Exout hits essentially - send hits to the trader if they owe us. For example 2 traders A - we owe them, B - they owe us. A surfer came? clicks, first click goes to trader A, 2nd click we can send to trader B despite the fact that they owe us, or to exout. In most cases it makes sense to send to the trader. If “Eligible for Exout hits” = yes – we send to the trader. Stop sending Exout Hits (if less then hits/hourly) and Start sending Exout Hits (if more then hits/hourly) allows regulating these parameters depending on trader traffic.

Advanced Traffic Settings

Trade Start Limit (Min to start trade) - minimum number of hits to start trade. This number of hits we must receive within an hour (!), not one hit per hour over 3 days.

Eligible for Exout hits - can this trade receive hits via exout, i.e. essentially send them extra hits if they owe us or if we care about trade accuracy.

Stop sending Exout Hits (if less then hits/hourly) - stop sending hits if trade is [?] or not.

Start sending Exout Hits (if more then hits/hourly) - same for start.

Use Limit Ratio - Very useful thing.

Consider an example
10 in, 2500% prod. 130 ratio
capped at 130% (10*1.3) = 13 out
normal at 130% = (10*1.3*2.5) 32.5 out
limit ratio at 200% + normal trade = (prod > 200% use limit ratio just 10 * 2 ) 20 out (10 * 2)

There are 3 options:

  • strict - trade as usual up to limit ratio, after limit ratio - no hits at all, trader is not shown in top so no hits go to them from the top,
  • inexact - similar to strict, but after reaching limit ratio the trader does NOT receive hits from thumbs, but remains in top and can receive some hits above limit ratio.
  • smooth - the script slowly reduces the trader's ratio as it approaches limit ratio, trader remains in top.

Send Cheat Hits to other URL send cheat hits to another URL

Send Proxy hits to other URL send proxy hits to another URL

Hourly Out Limit – hourly limit on the number of clicks sent to trader, if limit is exceeded, then for the current hour the trader is blocked and no more hits are sent.

Personal First click – personal first click for trader.

Personal Trade Scheme – was removed as it duplicated existing functionality. In personal skimming you can enter for example 100,0,0,100 etc which will express the scheme.

Send info about visited traders – this function is very helpful in narrow niches, although it will work in any other. With this function 2 copies of SmartCJ can exchange information about which traders a given surfer has already visited. Example, you have 2 domains – domain1.com and domain2.com. SmartCJ is installed on both domains. Traders on these two domains can overlap, for example, and both domain1.com and domain2.com trade with eachotherendomain.com. Of course, when domain1.com sends a surfer to domain2.com, domain2.com doesn't know if domain1.com sent this surfer to eachotherendomain.com. It only knows that the surfer came from domain1.com and that's where they shouldn't send them. This option makes it so that when domain1.com sends a surfer to domain2.com, it will attach information about which domains this surfer has already visited and thus domain2.com will know that eachotherendomain.com shouldn't be sent to either. This will increase the percentage of unique traffic leaving your resources.

Trader Groups - Special Urls

Here you can select with checkboxes which groups the trader belongs to. There is also a very useful feature for multi-niche sites. If you have a multi-niche site and trade with another one, it significantly increases productivity if you send for example from your teen page to their teen page, not just to the home page.

How to use this:

  1. on your teen.html add the group parameter to all URLs, for example out.php?group=teen&url….
  2. edit the trader and set a special URL for this trader and this group (for example traderdomain.com/teen.html)

Algorithm: if there's no group parameter in the request - send to the main URL, if there is a parameter - check if a URL is set for the group from the parameter - send to this URL, if not - to the main URL.

Trade Support\Suspend System

System for supporting\suspending traders, the main thing here is that your conditions don't overlap, i.e. one doesn't enable and another disable at the same time.

Site Types

For different site types you can slightly change the script's behavior:

Toplist - if the trader is marked as a toplist, SmartCJ will try to calculate the time of its reset. After calculation the time will be visible in the trader's popup and in editing, Other tab.

Friendly Tube - the script will forward the gallery slug to the trader in case the redirect to the trader happened when clicking on a movie. Makes sense between your own sites, especially in master-slave system. The point is as follows: you have a site with embeds. Surfer clicks on a movie slug=super_gallery, but the script decides to send them to trader site http://trader.com/.

If the trader is marked as Friendly tube to the script adds http://trader.com/ parameters ?try&slug=super_gallery. On the trader's site, if of course SmartCJ is also installed there, the script sees this slug and redirects not to the site index, but to the Try Param Redirect URL, which looks approximately like

http://{DOMAIN}/gallery/{GET_slug}/index.html

This positively affects the productivity of the source site (the person wanted to see a movie - they saw it), and also provides an opportunity to show other thumbnails around the embed itself = the surfer can click on these thumbnails on the trader's site.

This is of course only relevant when

  1. if the trader also has SmartCJ
  2. if you use either master-slave (then IDs are 100% the same) or if the content overlaps overall.

If there's no gallery with this ID on the trader's site - it will result in 404.

Trader Thumb

In trader editing an option appeared Thumb Shift ie skip first X thumbs, useful if the trader's first thumbnails are for example toplist thumbnails or something like that and accordingly when grabbing the trader's thumbnail you need to skip some thumbnails from the beginning.

Trade Groups

Traders can be divided into groups, and each trader can belong to one or more groups. Dividing traders into groups is needed so that you can divide traffic if your site has traffic from different niches. For example, if you have such an exotic case that the site has traffic teen and mature, you can divide traders into 2 groups, and in the links Clicks here for mature pics specify the group parameter=mature

out.php?url=http://mature_gallery.com/&group=mature&p=50

means 50% of clicks will go to

http://mature_gallery.com/

50% to traders from the mature group

Trader URL

Trader URL - this is the specific URL where traffic will go to the trader. In 99% of cases this is of course http://domain.com/, but there are options when you need for example http://domain.com/?id=blabla.com etc. A more interesting option is when you need to pass some parameter dynamically, for example you're feeding from popunder and just from pages of the site, and at the target site you need to see where the traffic came from.

For this make the trader's URL for example http://domain.com/?source={MY_PARAM}, and links to out out.php?my_param=site_page (on regular pages) and out.php?my_param=popunder - on popunder. When redirecting to a trader that has {MY_PARAM} it will be replaced with http://domain.com/?source=site_page (or popunder). For those who don't have {MY_PARAM} in their URL - nothing will change.

Forces

Fast Force - the script tries to give these hits immediately and as quickly as possible, giving the trader maximum priority.

Hourly forces - the script tries to give the designated number of hits to the trader per hour. Also hourly forces can be set for a specific time, for example “force 20 hits per hour for 10 hours”.

Usually force starts at 0 minutes, i.e. at the start of the hour, but you can set in trade editing from what exactly minute to start the force.

There is also Special Force - this is hourly force limited by time. For example, force 10 per hour for 5 hours. This type of force is good when accelerating some trade.

Besides hourly forces there are Timed Force. They allow forcing hits to a specific trader, and start doing this at a specific time. * in any field means “any value”

There are 2 types of timed forces: regular and soft. Regular - the trade gets maximum priority until we give them the required number of hits. Soft - the trade is set to a specific position in priority for a specific period (in minutes).

For example, you can set a trade to 5th by priority for 20 minutes.

The fundamental difference is that with regular force the trade will get as many hits as you specified. With soft force the number of hits received by the trader will depend on your traffic.

Normal Boost and Personal Boost. What's the point: regular forces give the trader maximum priority until the trader gets the assigned number of hits. In this case the trader gets in most cases the first clicks on your site, i.e. the most productive traffic. Boost - this is a system where any traffic is forced to the trader, i.e. this can be the 1st click or the 10th. The % of traffic spent on Boost is indicated in settings “Normal Boost limit, %” and “Personal Boost limit, % ”. Normal Boost - any number of traders can be in this group. Say 3 traders are in the group, in settings Normal Boost - 15%. This means 15% of total traffic will be distributed among these 3 traders, but not evenly, but according to each trader's priority. Personal Boost - similar to Normal Boost, but only 1 trader can be in this group.
