The first click is an important concept for sites with content. It means that when a visitor clicks on a content link (for example, out.php?url=http://gallery.com/post.html) for the first time on your site, they're directed to that URL.

You can set the first click in several ways:

1. Add the parameter &fc=1 to the link: out.php?url=http://gallery.com/post.html&fc=1
2. Set a default in Settings > CJSettings > Default first click
3. Configure individual trader settings under Personal click
4. Define it in each trader's Personal Trade Scheme

Note that first click is somewhat outdated. Technically, first click + 50% skim = 100% total traffic redirection. If you combine first click with, say, 70/50 skimming, the first click acts as 100% redirection, after which the 50% skim applies.
