Agreed, i have send them your wiki about it many times.

It's a managed server aim not a teck.

Do you want ssh access?

There's no need.

do you know how to run sql command ? can you google it ?
I think it's better to explain something once then ask for ssh access each time.

Should a standard server have enugh ram to run the db in innodb?

I don't know how many memory "standart server" has and how big is your DB - so it's pretty hard to say ... )

8gb dual xeon and its just a install with 5k embeded videos.
