converts never ends

I am having some issues where converts never finishes and it bring the machines down to its knees

as it continue stat span new converts every minute or so , on schedule.

The re isnt anything i can see in the log files.

What "converts" are you talking about ?

It's part of imagemagick library
You should check your install, try to update version and so on

The point is that script does not control it's behavior in any way.

I have the same version of convert in my other system

Version: ImageMagick 6.5.4-7 2014-02-10 Q16 OpenMP http://www.imagemagick.org

this is the command been run

convert 1/0/001/0_t.jpg -verbose -crop 2x2@ +repage +adjoin 0/001/0_t.jpg_%d.jpg

there are no message , it even hangs when i run manually

So as you can see it is not a part of the script, right?

i think -crop 2x2@ thats the option causing me grief

Can you tell me where the default options for convert are?

Got it work , but . . .

Two things i did noticed

on my other system convet was running with

sh -c /usr/bin//convert -crop -0-100 +repage -resize 400x300\^ -gravity Center -crop 400x300+0+0 -filter Blackman -modulate 105,102,100 -enhance -sharpen 1x1 -quality 85 -strip ../tmp/2761/12.jpg.extra.jpg.tmp.jpg ../tmp/2761/12.jpg.extra.jpg 2>/home/domains/theartofporn.sexy/public/scj/tmp/exec4m1jg6

In this system is running with
convert 1/0/001/0_t.jpg -verbose -debug -crop 2x2@ +repage +adjoin ^C0/001/0_t.jpg_%d.jpg

for this new system i created the crops with add new crop and just specify the size

Which runs into truoble

I then deleted the newly created crops and copied the default one

AND IT WORKED
