Can the files in the cache folder be deleted?

If you don't need cache - yes

I removed all folders from the cache folder and removed the cache code from the common.php -- but the cache is still being populated. I do not want cache at all until the site is running properly. I can not use the skip_cache it sends me to our error page.

I have removed some content that has been deleted and they still show on the content_list page as broken links, and thumbs. http://thaigirlporntube.com/gallery/%3C ... 5x73x20708

How can I delete these when they don't show up in the show thumbs view?

1. run update
2. try cache cookie

For anyone who is looking to delete links on your site that do not have thumbs in the list thumbs view, and appear broken on your site, there is a section under rotation/specials
( http://yourdomain.com/scj/admin/?operation=rotation&sub=rot_make ) that you can get the id of the thumb/gallery and paste it into the section to delete the thumb

Example http://yourdomain.com/gallery/%3C!--GALLERY_SLUG--%3E/index.html?5x33x20682

this link I used: 20682

Pasted it in the section for delete thumb
Delete thumbs by URL or ID
ie type URLs of THUMBS, one per line and script will delete it
Useful if you have to delete a list of THUMBS you've got in email

I have already done the update, and if I try to do an update again it tells me I am already updated. The reply I gave above is more helpful as it solved the problem and should have been sent as the solution to my request.

There's no need to edit your posts caz this way it's not clear why I've posted a link to the update doc.
You can always post a new message.
You that option helps you - 99% you didn't use cache cookie.

apologies on editing the post however I was not clear on why you wanted me to update, I thought there was a way to update the thumbs and was asking "update How?"

The problem was to remove the broken gallery links -- thinking it was a cache related problem but it was NOT.

What was that ?
