Total videos - New videos

[oceanude]

Hi,

Just a cosmetic question to fancy up design: I'd like to insert in template "Header of all pages" something like:
Total videos: 345,521
New videos (24h): 1,263

Is there a simple script-code that can be inserted there that displays total videos in the DB and all new videos added past 24h (or whatever time-span) ?

I searched wiki and forum but couldn't find an answer.
Thanks.

Yes, but I wouldn't load DB with pointless queries
nobody is going to count it, you can put any random number there.
