Is there a fix for this without editing php.ini?

What do I tell the host to fix this?

How do you know that it's the latest version ?

It's a fresh install and I don't see any messages about updates.

So when you open "home" screen do you see 'your last update section' ?

Ok you were right. I was on update 49. I had the host update to 50 but now there are more problems. Still getting those date errors.The category thumbs on the main page are missing. The categories css isn't loading. I'll pm you the url so you can look.

I deleted the cache and the pages are all working correctly again.

The date warning at the top of every page is still there though.
