Thanks for the excellent script! I've just got my site up and while playing with it, I am having quite a few questions that I'd like to ask:
1/ With Tube templates for login, register and profile pages I don't think there is a need for a sub template. But if I remove it will have notice at the top of page. Now I put blank sub template for these and script echo it at the top of page (view source):
<template name=default ></template><!DOCTYPE html>...
That looks not very nice.
2/ I am trying to echo keywords for meta keyword, the separator=", " bit doesn't work:
<tag_list separator=", " ><!--TAG--></tag_list>
so I have to use, which shows redundant comma at the end.
<tag_list><!--TAG-->, </tag_list>
3/ When user is not login and try to comment, where's the Name value is kept?
In this case, $comment['username'] is blank.
4/ When importing my gallery's slug always has -1 at the end:
For example:
http://domain.com/gallery/gorgeous-asia ... ?4x79x4430
How do I avoid this?
Can we have a replace option in mass edit for slug too?
5/ When user registers, there is activation email sent from: Admin <[email protected]>
How do we change From name from Admin to something like Site Name?
6/ I am using sub version to monitor changes in template, css etc. It shows many warnings in admin home:
Folder includes/img/img_mod/.svn is not a part of scj, skipping
Folder includes/img/.svn is not a part of scj, skipping
Folder includes/db_modules/.svn is not a part of scj, skipping
/home/xxx.com/public_html/scj/backup/.svn/text-base/last.data.svn-base unexpected extension svn-base in this folder but it doesnt have bad tags
/home/xxx.com/public_html/scj/backup/.svn/text-base/scj_pro_49.2013-11-30.sql.svn-base unexpected extension svn-base in this folder
Can we have this turned off?
7/ It would be nice to have more template elements like header / bottom (which does not require sub template) to be included (rather than include file). Some boxes on pages are reused every where etc.
I am trying to use header.tpl / bottom.tpl via FTP with Dev mode ON but it show errors (no sub template) on top.

6. if you need templates which are in DB and css which is outside of scj folder - why don't you exclude scj of snv ?

When I posted the questions above, script shows: Updates and news ( Your last update # : 49 ).
I run the update, everything went fine. I copied index.php and out.php to website root.
But after that there is error in front end:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Unknown MySQL server host 'd' (1) in /home/domain.com/public_html/scj/includes/db_modules/mysql.php on line 11 Can not connect to database server.
Admin area seems still working.
Please advise?

Did you try to open w\o cache ?

Awesome. At the end of script update it said cache was purged so I didn't think of that.
Looks like the option to Delete all cache has been removed in this update? So I had to turn on ' Recreate visited pages' cookie and it seems working now.
The only problem is that when gallery link is clicked:

It saids:

Thank you. I don't have any trader right now.
I have reinstalled the script, updated to #50 then re-imported the thumbs. Problem with warnings now gone.
I have installed the script freshly and updated to #50 on 2 different domains (2 accounts on same server). But on the other domain, when I logged-in the home of admin it shows:
(Dark gray News box on top left):
Update 50 released ! etc...
The account having problem does not have this 'News box' on top left (is this 2 different #50 versions or this is just welcome cookie set on another domain)?
I still have problem when I try to add new trade /scj/scjwebmaster.php, it took long time and finally Internal Server Error shown.
I will PM you the FTP details for you to look at if you have time.
