The problem stopped for several hours and now it got back.. i restarted memcached again and cleaned cache...error stopped for 10' and its back again. Any idea how to solve it?

When you link a db to a 'master' tube... does it performs a SQL connection on every page request (every time a visitor enters my site) or it only connects on cron?

Please note i am refering to the SQL connection between the slave and the master DB, not between the slave and its own DB ...

I'm still checking the error logs and the other error we get (with extreme frequency) is:

Just cleaned up the cache folder and restarted memcache, will let it run for a while and check if we get any error. Thanks.
