====== Rotation Groups ======


Groups let you rotate thumbs and text separately, or rotate different thumb sets per niche. Three groups exist by default, though most sites use only one.

In group settings, set:
- **Shift Period (hours)** - Time between rotations
- **Shift Period (Clicks)** - Number of clicks before rotation

**Reset all stats on reset** - Reset statistics when removing thumbs after a shift. (Recommendation: disable this.)

**Action on shift** – Choose what happens during rotation:

- **Delete not popular/add from Pull** - Remove lowest-performing thumbs, add new ones from the pool. Good if you constantly add content.
- **Not popular to Old/add from Pull** - Move low-performers to "old" state, add new thumbs from pool to active.
- **Not popular to Pull/add from Pull** - Move low-performers to pool (resetting stats), promote some from pool to active.
- **Move not popular objects to other group** - Transfer low-performers to another group's pool.
- **Move most popular objects to other group** - Transfer top performers to another group.

**Most common**: "Not popular to Old/add from Pull"

**New objects settings** - Custom values for new thumbs (similar to [[Rotation Settings]], but per-group).

**Thumb Settings (for grabber)** - Thumbnail sizes.

==== Group Massedit ====

To change custom variables for groups (like updating multiple groups at once), use Mass Add instead of regular massedit. If you add a group with an existing name, the script updates that group instead of skipping it. Just add the group with the same name but different custom variable data.
