 ====== Global Admin ====== ====== Global Admin ======

-This is a network management tool also known as Multiadmin.+Global Admin is a system for managing two or more SmartCJ sites from a central location.

-First of all create any amount of site groups. It actually for your convenience only so you can create just 1 group. After that add sites , note that password field is NOT for your admin password (ie password for admin area), you have to type Exchange password from settings of each site.+First, optionally organize your sites by creating categories in Global Admin > Niches. This is purely for your convenience.

-Custom url is just a custom field where you can enter url to an external rotator or something like that and you'll see that link next to each site.+To add a site to Global Admin:
 +
 +1. Go to Global Admin > Sites > Add Site
 +2. Enter the site's password (found in Settings > CJSettings > SiteInfo > Smart Exchange password)
 +3. Optionally enter a Custom URL for quick access (such as a link to an external rotator or that site's LinkExchange admin)
 +
 +Use the site's Smart Exchange password, rather than the password for its admin interface.
 +
 +Once sites are added, you can view combined statistics. Go to Global Admin > Stats, select the sites you want to monitor (or all of them), and view aggregated data.
 +
 +{{:ru:ga.gif|}}
 +
 +Below the statistics is a Sync Data section that lets you synchronize data between sites in your network. For CJ Settings, all data syncs except for personal information like title, description, MainPage, and Smart Exchange password.
 +
 +
 +===== Restricting exchange access by IP =====
 +
 +You can restrict Global Admin exchange to your own servers' IP addresses. On each site that receives exchange requests, open **Settings - CJSettings - Admin Area** and fill in **Limit access to scj_ex.php (Global Admin exchange) by IP**.
 +
 +Enter the IP addresses of the servers that use Global Admin to connect to this site, separated by commas. You can use individual addresses and CIDR networks. For example:
 +
 +<code>
 +203.0.113.10,198.51.100.0/24
 +</code>
 +
 +This example allows exchange requests from 203.0.113.10 and addresses in the 198.51.100.0/24 network. Replace these with your own addresses. Use the outgoing server IP seen by the receiving site, rather than your browser's IP. If your sites exchange requests in both directions, configure the list on each site.
 +
 +Leaving the field empty removes the IP restriction. **The Smart Exchange password is still required**, even for allowed IP addresses. The adjacent **Limit access to admin area by IP** setting is separate: it restricts access to the admin interface, while this option controls Global Admin exchange through scj_ex.php.
 +
 +If the sending server's IP is not on the list, its exchange request is rejected with HTTP 403; the API returns ''ip_not_allowed''. Check the server's outgoing IP and the list on the receiving site.
 +
 +===== GA: Sync data =====
 +
 +Global Admin includes data synchronization options. When adding a new site (Site 2) to Global Admin, you'll see an option: "Sync GA data with this site?". If you enable this:
 +
 +- GA data is copied to Site 2
 +- You can view combined statistics in Global Admin from both Site 1 and Site 2
 +- Synchronization continues after setup. If you remove Site 2 from Site 1's GA, the updated GA data is also synchronized to Site 2. If you add Site 3, it automatically appears in Site 2's GA.
 +
 +You can disable this synchronization at any time by editing the site in Global Admin.
 +
 +===== SignUp network =====
 +
 +A new option called "Show Network info?" has been added to settings. When enabled, the master signup page displays all sites in Global Admin, allowing users to sign up with multiple sites at once. You can control which sites appear in this network list by configuring the visibility setting for each site in Global Admin.

-Sync data - copy all Global Admin info to that new site, useful if you add a new site and want be able to check global stats from each site.
