Hi,
Had a few questions regarding creating hosted tube with scj:

1.) If I have a dump with wmv files, can scj re process the videos to mp4 format and process the thumbs? 2.) Will the player play the files both on mobile and desktop versions, will video files be converted for mobile and desktop sepeately?
3.) Does scj support imports with descrptions in other languages for example hindi?

1. create thumbs - yes
convert to another format - no, there are a lot of options and it hugely depends on a situation.

If you are going to convert it = you have to download it = you have those movies at your server = just run a convert command in command line, no need to add hundreds of options into the script.

What player do we have in scj for hosted tube model? Can it play mp4 files? Can the player play the videos both on mobile and desktop? Please let me know as I want to create a hosted tube using scj.

but you can use any player, just make modifications to template and that;s it
