update error

trying to get most up to date version, install scj as usual, from fresh dloaded installer, but i get v.1.49.
ok, next thing i do is via ssh update the script, but after update main page in admin panel goes crazy, even my browser freeze.
anyway, can u help me please update scj ?

ssh update process as same user as apache.

You run apache under the same user ?? wow ..

lots of errors with permissions after update and main admin page loads so browser freeze.
should i update script from root ?

no, but at the same time i don't think it's good idea to run apache under the same user.
So did you fix those permission warnings ?

no i don't bcouse i don't even know what exactly chmod files to, and what files...
mayb u can take a look when u got some free time ?
i can sent u ftp/ssh details to server.
