How does search work?

As far as I can see if I type "chubby teen" it will only show me results of videos that have chubby teen words next to each other. And looks like it doesn't search for tags?

How do I make it a bit better search, to show more results.

We have installed sphinx on my server. We have problem with indexing as source scj section is not correct:

SQL in source section of example:
mysql> SELECT id, date, tags, alt, description, duration, sponsor_id, rgroup FROM rot_galleries as g JOIN rot_gallery_stats AS gs ON g.id = gs.thumb_id WHERE status = 1 and gs.best_thumb = 'yes' and rgroup != 0;
ERROR 1054 (42S22): Unknown column 'tags' in 'field list'

Can you send us correct "source scj" section for indexer?

The query sphinx is using returns an empty set when run manually from the mysql command line.

I tried breaking down the query into smaller chunks to see where the problem lied, and it looks like it's back to the original error:

SELECT id, UNIX_TIMESTAMP(activation_date) as date, tags, alt, description, duration, sponsor_id, rgroup, content_type, gs.total_ctr FROM rot_galleries;
ERROR 1054 (42S22): Unknown column 'tags' in 'field list'

It's all setup as in your example, but it's giving empty results.

Because you removed rot_gallery_info table from the query.

The query still returns an empty set, even when run in full.

mysql> SELECT id, crc32(g.gallery_md5) as gallery_md5_crc, UNIX_TIMESTAMP(activation_date) as date, tags, alt, description, duration, sponsor_id, rgroup, content_type, gs.total_ctr FROM rot_galleries as g JOIN rot_gallery_stats AS gs ON g.id = gs.thumb_id JOIN rot_gallery_info AS gi ON g.gallery_md5 = gi.gallery_md5 JOIN rot_gallery_data AS gd ON g.gallery_md5 = gd.gallery_md5 WHERE status = 1 and gs.best_thumb = 'yes' and rgroup != 0;
Empty set (0.00 sec)

There are 2 options

1. you can try to investigate this issue by yourself or ask admin
2. i can check it but I need phpmyadmin access and will be able to do it in few days.
