My site has many dead thumbnails, even though thumbnail URL during import was correct.

Example1: 18videoclips.com (master)
Example2: teenersextube.com (slave)

how to fix this? when I imported all the thumbnail URLs were OK

The reason is simple - URLs where NOT correct

for example

http://18videoclips.com/flv/23/blond_gi ... throat.jpg

returns 404

is there an easy way to find images where thumbnails are bad? in rotation>list thumbs?

Yes, list thumbs - show thumb and just go thought it ...
