Hello,

Let's say before importing galleries i already have my list of tags with synonyms and don't want more tags added even if the galleries have more tags.

Should i edit the whitelist with tags and synonyms, and then import the galleries but with tags in for example custom vars and not tags column? And eventually, reassign tags with custom vars = yes ?

Because if i import galleries with tags in column tags it will create new tags ( by new tags i mean tags in the galleries import which aren't in my whitelist ) ?

If you use whitelist it shouldn't create any new tags
it doesn't matter if you add galleries specifying tags as custom var for example.
