It is no longer needed...

What you are doing is removing that code because it uses a height, width size that looks spammy and bad to google. It also uses CSS to locate itself outside of the viewable area. Another spammy looking thing to google. Instead you are doing the referrer detection and other information through your logo which will still show just like before.
