Thanks for that info, fortunately I didn't mess up central DB yet that way.
So best option is to create a new master DB each time I want to setup a network of niche tubes, and not trying to run niche tubes on this 1 central general DB.

Or you can do the following

1. do not deactivate groups

2. create file index.php

<?
$_GET['group_id'] = '5,6';
include('full path to scj/tube/index.php');

and it will show selected groups only all the time
