Hi,
After tuning the mysql by adding these parameters:

innodb_additional_mem_pool_size=64M
innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit=2
innodb_log_file_size=64M

The load went up even more and 20 GB of memory is being used by cache of the server so we had to remove the mysql settings used to tuning. Also admin said:

" It appears that there's over 200,000 files in the cache folder which seems to be an excessive number"

Can i delete the files in the cache folder? Is it safe? Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks.

also there's no link between size of the cache and mysql settings.
