TCMS - 1 master and 10+ slaves

Hello, would linking 10 salves or more to 1 master db be a bad practice because of the many simultaneous queries to the same db ?

From experience, what's a good number of slaves per master ?

For example, instead of 1 master and 10 slaves, would 2 masters and 5 slaves (on the same server) be a better option server load wise ?

Hi!

You don't have table locks in you dont write into the template.

So if you gonna add a lot constantly - yes, 2 master sites would be better
if not - 1 is ok

But in fact
1. I doubt you gonna notice the difference
2. with 2 exactly the same master sites you gonna need 2x memory to load DB into the memory
