trade stats counting

Created some new sites recently. I'm feeding with traffic from my already existing sites. Trade stats on some new sites show inflated in hits. I've only sent around 300 hits, but in hits is showing 28,000. Bookmarks, SE, notrade, and noref are all also showing inflated stats. Some sites are doing this while others aren't. What could be the cause of this?
